Contest: Share T.B.D. in July to win a VMworld Online Subscription
D

Cloud, infrastructure, technical, & solution architect from Alberta, Canada. Been working with VMware products since ESX 2, and hold several industry certifications. 9x VMware vExpert.

As a bit of a housewarming for T.B.D., I'm holding a contest where you could win a VMworld Online Subscription! I have two subscriptions to give away and all you have to do to win one is spread the T.B.D. love in July.

VMworld Online Subscription

The VMworld Online Subscription is a one-year subscription that provides access to all the recorded sessions available on the VMworld website. This includes recorded sessions from both VMworld US and VMworld Europe. The sessions will be available to you on demand for when the need arises.

As an example of how much content is available, at present there are almost 300 sessions available from the VMworld 2013 season, from a range of tracks:

  • Business Continuity

  • End-User Computing

  • Networking

  • Operations

  • Public Hybrid Cloud

  • Security & Compliance

  • Storage

  • Technology Exchange for Alliance Partners

  • Virtualizing Applications

  • vSphere and vCloud Suite

Sessions from earlier VMworlds are also available.

Note that if you have registered to attend VMworld this year or are a VMUG Advantage subscriber[1], you already have a current VMworld Online Subscription. In this case I kindly ask that you consider letting me know in your comment or by adding a #bowout hashtag to your tweet so I can award the subscriptions to those that don't yet have them.

How to Enter

Simply comment on any T.B.D. blog post or compose a tweet that includes a link to a T.B.D. blog post within the month of July. At the start of August I'll combine all the comments and tweets from July together and draw two randomly. Yes, this does mean that the more you comment and tweet, the more entries you'll have in the contest! No, this doesn't mean you can win both subscriptions!

Because I can't award prizes to people I can't reach, please make sure to double-check your contact info when leaving a comment, and follow me on Twitter if you wish to be reached via DM. I reserve the right to redraw one or both prizes for any reason, including failure to reach you, so fair warning.

I'm not above public celebration, so be ready to be congratulated here and on the Twitters when you win. Good luck!

Update: Due to some issues with T.B.D. not showing up properly on the VMware Planet V12n blog rollup, the contest is extended until August 8th.

[1] According to the June 2014 edition of the VMUG Voice, VMUG Advantage Subscribers will receive access to VMworld Online after VMworld Europe.
